Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a famous American singer and actor. Parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. She was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Kristen was born in Huntington Woods, Michigan, to the family of a Polish mother and father who has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen developed a talent in the performing arts from an early age on stage. She was able to land her first acting role in her audition in Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mom enrolled her with an agency just before her 13th birthday. She was then featured in TV commercials as well as newspaper ads. Then she began taking classes in acting. Bell played a small part, uncredited on the film Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a member of the music and drama club of Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school and she won the role of Dorothy. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theater after graduation. Bell left college in 2001 when she landed the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credits in Pootie Tang in 2001. Her scene, however, was trimmed and now her appearance only appears in the final credits. Bell appeared in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
